What do I need to rent a scooter in Rome?
To drive and rent a scooter in Rome you need a B category drivers license for scooters 50cc-125cc. For 150cc scooter you will need a full moto (A class) driving license. Vendor may ask you for a deposit for the rental period (usually 100-200 euro) refundable at the end. International drivers license required. Age from 18 years old.

From October to March there is a low season with cheap prices. April till September is a high season with high prices. August is the most expensive month. We can advise to make a booking 30-20 days in advance during the high season to guarantee availability, because all companies will be fully booked during July and August. Average rental price is 20 EUR per day during low season and 30 EUR per day during high season.
