Picture ditching the ferry-port shuffle and the bus timetable altogether: engine humming, salt air in your face, the whole of Agistri open ahead of you. A short ride from the port at Skala gets you to Dragonera Beach's pine-shaded sand, and from there the road climbs on to Faneromeni Monastery, where the Saronic Gulf spreads out below in one long blue line. This is what a quad rental in Agistri gets you — not a checklist of sights, but the freedom to string them together on your own schedule.
Agistri is barely 5km end to end, home to under a thousand people, and its roads reflect that: narrow, hilly, and often unpaved once you leave the two main villages. A car feels oversized here, and the bus network barely reaches beaches like Aponisos. A quad, on the other hand, is built for exactly this — tight lanes, loose gravel, dirt tracks through the pine forest. You could ride the whole coastal loop in an afternoon and still have time for a swim.
You'll need a valid driving licence — the exact category depends on how the quad is registered, so it's worth confirming with the rental company when you book. Non-EU visitors should carry an International Driving Permit alongside their home licence. Most operators ask for a minimum age, often 18, and will take a deposit, usually a credit-card hold, before handing over the keys.
Expect to pay around 15 EUR a day in low season, rising to roughly 25-30 EUR during the summer peak. Newer or automatic-transmission quads run closer to 30-35 EUR a day.
High season runs July through August, when quads sell out fast and prices sit at their highest — book ahead if you're travelling then. Low season stretches from November to March, when many island rental shops close altogether. May, June, September and October hit the sweet spot: fewer crowds, milder heat, and better rates.
Greece drives on the right. Helmets are compulsory for every rider, and checks are strict. Speed limits top out at 50 km/h in built-up areas and 90 km/h on open roads, though Agistri's narrow lanes rarely let you get near that. The blood-alcohol limit is 0.5 g/l generally, tightened to 0.2 g/l for novice riders. Keep in mind that rental insurance typically excludes unpaved roads and beaches, so treat any off-road detour through the pine forest as being at your own risk.
On our website you can rent the following types of quad bikes: sport ATV, utility quad, two-seater quad, automatic quad, manual-shift quad, 4x4 quad, buggy (UTV), off-road racing quad, kids' quad, and larger touring ATVs.
On our website you can hire quad bikes from the following manufacturers: Yamaha, Honda, Polaris, Can-Am, CFMoto, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Linhai, TGB.
Usually basic third-party insurance is included in the rental price. If you wish to have more protection you can purchase additional CDW insurance, which limits your risk to the amount of your deposit. If you wish to rent a quad bike without a deposit and with zero risk, you will need to add full insurance to your reservation.
When you make an online quad bike reservation you can also order the following extra services and equipment: helmet, goggles, gloves, individual guide or instructor, photo and video service of your ride, transfer to the starting point of your ride, full insurance, delivery to the address you choose.
Most of our local quad bike rentals have many years of experience and will provide you with a well-maintained quad, helmet, guide and friendly service. The number of companies we work with is increasing every day, so if you want to rent a quad bike, just use the search form at the top of the page. Have a nice trip!
