Livadeia rewards the kind of traveller who likes to wander off-script. Rent a quad in the town centre and within minutes you can be splashing along the walkways at the Krya Springs, where the Herkyna river tumbles out from under plane trees, before climbing the hill to the ruins of the medieval castle for a view over the whole Boeotian plain. It is the kind of morning that feels effortless on four wheels and exhausting on two feet.
The town itself is compact and easy to navigate, but the real appeal lies just beyond it — forest tracks toward Mount Helicon, lightly paved roads to ancient battlefields, and hillside villages that public transport simply does not reach. A car feels oversized for these lanes, while a quad bike handles the mix of cobbled streets, gravel and open countryside without fuss. If you want to rent a quad-bike in Livadeia, this is exactly the terrain it was built for.
You will need a valid driving licence — the exact category depends on how the quad is registered, so it is worth confirming with the rental company before booking. Non-EU visitors should carry an International Driving Permit alongside their home licence. Most operators set their own minimum age, and a deposit, usually held on a credit card, is standard practice. Keep your licence, IDP and rental papers with you whenever you ride.
Average rental prices run from EUR 15-20 per day in low season up to EUR 30-45 per day in high season, with premium models reaching EUR 45-60 per day.
High season runs July to August, when demand is strongest and prices sit at their yearly peak — book ahead if you are travelling then. Low season, November to March, brings the cheapest rates, though some operators scale back availability. May, June, September and October strike the best balance: mild weather, thinner crowds and reasonable prices.
Greece drives on the right. Helmets are compulsory for both rider and passenger, and police enforcement is strict, with substantial fines for going without one. In built-up areas the speed limit is 50 km/h, rising to 90 km/h on open roads. The blood-alcohol limit is 0.5 g/l for most drivers, though it is stricter for novice riders. Rental insurance typically excludes unpaved roads and off-road use, so it pays to stick to the tarmac routes described above.
On our website you can rent the following types of quad bikes: sport ATV, utility quad, two-seater quad, automatic quad, manual-shift quad, 4x4 quad, buggy (UTV), off-road racing quad, kids' quad, and larger touring ATVs.

Usually basic third-party insurance is included in the rental price. If you wish to have more protection you can purchase additional CDW insurance, which limits your risk to the amount of your deposit. If you wish to rent a quad bike without a deposit and with zero risk, you will need to add full insurance to your reservation.
When you make an online quad bike reservation you can also order the following extra services and equipment: helmet, goggles, gloves, individual guide or instructor, photo and video service of your ride, transfer to the starting point of your ride, full insurance, delivery to the address you choose.
Most of our local quad bike rentals have many years of experience and will provide you with a well-maintained quad, helmet, guide and friendly service. The number of companies we work with is increasing every day, so if you want to rent a quad bike, just use the search form at the top of the page. Have a nice trip!
