Pattaya doesn't reveal itself from Beach Road. The city's real character — the wooden spires of the Sanctuary of Truth rising over the sea at Naklua, the giant gold Buddha image cut into the cliffs at Khao Chi Chan, the quiet harbor life of Bang Saray — sits scattered well beyond walking distance. A quad bike rental in Pattaya puts all of it within reach in a single day, with nobody but you deciding when to stop for photos or push on to the next bay.
Few destinations suit a quad quite like this one. Pattaya's attractions form a wide arc — coastal Naklua to the north, inland hills around Khao Chi Chan and Silverlake Vineyard, then Jomtien and Bang Saray to the south — a spread that turns into three separate taxi rides if you're not driving yourself. Add Beach Road and Sukhumvit traffic at rush hour, plus the unpaved, hilly approach roads near the vineyard and Pratamnak Hill, and a quad's stability and visibility start to make a lot of sense over a standard scooter.
Quad bikes are generally ridden off-road or on private tour tracks rather than registered for public roads, so licence requirements come down to the operator — ask before you book. If your route includes public roads, treat it like renting a motorcycle: a motorcycle-category licence, or your home licence plus an International Driving Permit with the motorcycle entitlement. Most shops set a minimum age around 18. A deposit is standard practice; offer cash or a photocopy of your passport rather than handing over the original.
Expect roughly 550–650 THB per day for a standard single-seat quad in low season, and 900–1,400 THB per day during high season. Larger or twin-seat 4x4 models can run 1,500–2,500 THB per day even when demand is quiet.
November through February is high season — cooler, drier days and the best riding weather, but also the busiest and priciest window, so book ahead if you're coming over Christmas or New Year. May to October is low season: fewer tourists, softer prices, and the occasional monsoon downpour to plan around.
Thailand drives on the left, with overtaking on the right. Helmets are compulsory for rider and passenger alike and are enforced with on-the-spot fines. Speed limits sit around 60 km/h in town and up to 90 km/h on rural roads outside it. The blood-alcohol limit is 0.05% — roadside checks are common, especially around holidays — and riding without the correct licence or a helmet can void your insurance entirely. Watch for motorcycles cutting along the shoulder and sudden downpours that make painted road markings slick.
On our website you can rent the following types of quad bikes: sport ATV, utility quad, two-seater quad, automatic quad, manual-shift quad, 4x4 quad, buggy (UTV), off-road racing quad, kids' quad, and larger touring ATVs.

Usually basic third-party insurance is included in the rental price. If you wish to have more protection you can purchase additional CDW insurance, which limits your risk to the amount of your deposit. If you wish to rent a quad bike without a deposit and with zero risk, you will need to add full insurance to your reservation.
When you make an online quad bike reservation you can also order the following extra services and equipment: helmet, goggles, gloves, individual guide or instructor, photo and video service of your ride, transfer to the starting point of your ride, full insurance, delivery to the address you choose.
Most of our local quad bike rentals have many years of experience and will provide you with a well-maintained quad, helmet, guide and friendly service. The number of companies we work with is increasing every day, so if you want to rent a quad bike, just use the search form at the top of the page. Have a nice trip!
