There is a version of Agadir that most beach-holiday visitors never see, and the fastest way to reach it is behind the handlebars of a quad. Ride up from the marina to Agadir Oufella for the kasbah ruins and a panorama over the whole bay, then push inland toward Paradise Valley, where the palm gorge opens up around natural rock pools you can only get to once the tarmac runs out. It's the kind of afternoon that turns a package holiday into a proper adventure.
Agadir's best sights are scattered along a coastline and up into the Atlas foothills — distances that are tedious on foot and awkward by taxi, but exactly what a quad is built for. The tracks into Paradise Valley, Imouzzer and the Tifnit dunes involve sand, river crossings and unpaved ground a rental car simply can't handle, which is why guided quad excursions are already the standard half-day activity sold out of Agadir and Taghazout. If you want to rent a quad bike in Agadir, you're really just doing what everyone else here already does.
You'll generally need a valid driving licence — guided off-road tours often skip a strict check, but riding on public roads requires one. Rental companies usually set their own minimum age, commonly 21, sometimes with a requirement that you've held your licence for a while. Bring an International Driving Permit alongside your national licence to be safe. Expect to leave a deposit, either cash or a card imprint, along with your passport details.
A basic single-seat quad runs 150-200 MAD/day in low season and 300-450 MAD/day in high season. Larger or double-seat models go for 500-800 MAD/day and up, and guided half-day excursions with an instructor are usually priced separately, around 250-400 MAD per person.
December to February and July to August are Agadir's busiest stretches, so book ahead if you're travelling then. May-June and September-November are quieter and cheaper, with mild enough weather to make daytime riding genuinely comfortable rather than a battle with the heat.
Morocco drives on the right, and helmets are required for riders — always wear the one you're given, even where enforcement looks relaxed. Speed limits sit around 60 km/h in town, 100 km/h on open roads and 120 km/h on motorways, with radar checks common at the edges of towns. Morocco takes a zero-tolerance approach to drink-driving, so save the mint tea for after the ride.
On our website you can rent the following types of quad bikes: sport ATV, utility quad, two-seater quad, automatic quad, manual-shift quad, 4x4 quad, buggy (UTV), off-road racing quad, kids' quad, and larger touring ATVs.

Usually basic third-party insurance is included in the rental price. If you wish to have more protection you can purchase additional CDW insurance, which limits your risk to the amount of your deposit. If you wish to rent a quad bike without a deposit and with zero risk, you will need to add full insurance to your reservation.
When you make an online quad bike reservation you can also order the following extra services and equipment: helmet, goggles, gloves, individual guide or instructor, photo and video service of your ride, transfer to the starting point of your ride, full insurance, delivery to the address you choose.
Most of our local quad bike rentals have many years of experience and will provide you with a well-maintained quad, helmet, guide and friendly service.
