Antibes has a way of rewarding anyone willing to leave the car behind. Take a quad bike rental in Antibes and you can trace the whole curve of Cap d'Antibes in an afternoon, stopping wherever the coast opens up, then swing inland to a hill village like Biot before the light fades. It is one of the few ways to feel the Riviera the way locals actually move through it — wind in your face, no traffic jam holding you back from the next viewpoint.
The Cap's shore roads are short and winding rather than long and straight, and the old town's lanes are too tight for most cars to bother with, which is exactly where a compact quad earns its keep. Nothing on this stretch of coast is far — most sights sit within fifteen kilometres of each other — so you spend your time riding and looking, not driving.
On French public roads a quad always needs a licence: light quads up to 50cc fall under the AM category, while heavier machines require a B1 or full B car licence — the rental company can confirm which applies to their fleet. Most agencies set their own minimum age, commonly 18 and sometimes higher for the larger models. Non-EU visitors should bring an International Driving Permit alongside their home licence. Expect to leave a security deposit, usually taken as a credit card pre-authorisation and released when the quad comes back undamaged; ask the specific operator for the exact amount and excess before you book.
Prices swing a lot with the season. In low season you can find a quad from around 15 EUR per day, rising to 50–90 EUR per day in high season, and 90–150 EUR per day for premium models.
High season runs June through August, peaking hard in late July and August when the whole coast books up and the cheaper quads go first — reserve ahead if you're travelling then. Low season, November to March, is far quieter and cheaper, though some outlets scale back their hours. For a middle ground of good weather and lighter crowds, aim for late spring or September.
France drives on the right. Helmets are compulsory for every rider on a motorised two-wheeler, and CE-approved gloves are a legal requirement too — unusual outside France, but enforced with fines. Dipped headlights stay on at all times, even in daylight. In town, the speed limit is 50 km/h from the town-name sign onward, dropping on rural roads without a central barrier; watch local signage, as some limits vary. The blood-alcohol limit is 0.5 g/l, tightening to effectively zero for riders still in their first three years of licence. Ride within these rules and Antibes is as easy to explore by quad as it looks from the coast road.

Usually basic third-party insurance is included in the rental price. If you wish to rent a quad bike without a deposit and with zero risk, you will need to add full insurance to your reservation.
When you make an online quad bike reservation you can also order the following extra services and equipment: helmet, goggles, gloves, individual guide or instructor, photo and video service of your ride, transfer to the starting point of your ride, full insurance, delivery to the address you choose.
Most of our local quad bike rentals have many years of experience and will provide you with a well-maintained quad, helmet, guide and friendly service.
