Ankara rarely makes it onto a rider's shortlist of Turkish destinations, and that's exactly the point. While the capital's traffic and government blocks keep most visitors on foot or in a taxi, the real reason to come here on four wheels is what surrounds the city: the forested trails of Soğuksu National Park, the rock walls of the Beypazarı Kırkgeçit Canyon, the pine tracks of Beynam Forest. This is where a quad bike rental in Ankara earns its keep — on the unpaved climbs and dam-lake shorelines a city car can't touch.
Ankara itself is landlocked, hilly and spread across a wide plateau, with an unusually dense ring of forests, canyons and reservoirs within an hour or two of the center. That's terrain built for a quad, not a scooter: rutted forest roads, loose gravel switchbacks and long stretches where the nearest paved road is a memory. A guided 4x4 tour will get you to one of these places for the day; renting your own ATV lets you string two or three together, set your own pace and pull over wherever the view earns it.
Guided off-road quad tours in Turkey usually only require a briefing and no formal licence, but if you plan to take a quad onto public roads it needs to be road-registered and you'll need a licence that covers it. Most operators set a minimum age of 18. Expect to leave a deposit, either as a card hold or in cash, and bring your International Driving Permit (IDP) along with your home licence just in case.
Prices are quoted in TRY. A standard 250–300cc quad runs roughly 1,500–2,500 TRY per day in high season, dropping to around 800–900 TRY per day in low season. Larger 450cc-plus models or buggy-style ATVs go for 2,500–4,000+ TRY per day.
High season runs June to August, when prices and demand are at their peak. Low season falls between December and February, with the coldest months bringing the cheapest rates but also snow and freezing conditions inland. For the best balance of good weather and lighter crowds, aim for late spring or early autumn.
Turkey drives on the right. Helmets are compulsory for riders on motorised two-wheelers and this is actively enforced, so wear one even on a short forest loop. General speed limits are 50 km/h in built-up areas and 90 km/h on rural roads, though off-road quads are meant to stay off public highways unless properly registered. The blood-alcohol limit is 0.05% for private drivers, with routine roadside checks, so treat a day of riding as a day off drinking.
On our website you can rent the following types of quad bikes: sport ATV, utility quad, two-seater quad, automatic quad, manual-shift quad, 4x4 quad, buggy (UTV), off-road racing quad, kids' quad, and larger touring ATVs.
On our website you can hire quad bikes from the following manufacturers: Yamaha, Honda, Polaris, Can-Am, CFMoto, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Linhai, TGB.
Usually basic third-party insurance is included in the rental price. If you wish to have more protection you can purchase additional CDW insurance, which limits your risk to the amount of your deposit. If you wish to rent a quad bike without a deposit and with zero risk, you will need to add full insurance to your reservation.
When you make an online quad bike reservation you can also order the following extra services and equipment: helmet, goggles, gloves, individual guide or instructor, photo and video service of your ride, transfer to the starting point of your ride, full insurance, delivery to the address you choose.
Most of our local quad bike rentals have many years of experience and will provide you with a well-maintained quad, helmet, guide and friendly service. The number of companies we work with is increasing every day, so if you want to rent a quad bike, just use the search form at the top of the page. Have a nice trip!
