There's a particular thrill to twisting the throttle on Sheikh Zayed Road with the Burj Khalifa sliding past on your left, or leaning into the sixty hairpin turns that climb Jebel Hafeet toward Al Ain. If you're planning a trip to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, don't limit yourself to taxis and the metro — you can rent a motorcycle in Dubai on our website and reach places most visitors never see, from quiet desert roads to mountain passes an hour outside the city.
Dubai was practically built for two wheels. The highways are wide, smooth and generously signposted, so a bike lets you cover long distances without wrestling traffic the way a car driver has to, and parking near the Marina or Deira takes seconds instead of circling for a spot. Out past the city limits, straight desert roads like Al Qudra and winding mountain routes near Hatta turn a simple rental into a full day-trip machine, not just a way to get from hotel to mall.
To rent a motorcycle you'll need a motorcycle-category licence — either a UAE licence or your home licence with motorcycle entitlement, backed by an International Driving Permit. Rental companies usually also want to see some riding experience. Minimum age is generally 21 or older, with higher minimums for bigger bikes. Expect to leave a deposit or a credit-card pre-authorisation along with a copy of your passport; any traffic fines or toll charges picked up during the rental are billed afterwards.
Small-capacity scooters and motorcycles start from around AED 20-25 per day in low season, rising to roughly AED 35-60 per day at peak times. If you want something bigger, large-capacity sportbikes and tourers typically run AED 300-800+ per day.
High season runs November to March, with December to February the busiest and priciest stretch — book ahead if you're travelling then. Low season falls between June and September, when the heat is intense but rental prices are at their most affordable. Riding is genuinely more pleasant outside the summer months, so if your dates are flexible, aim for the cooler half of the year.
Traffic drives on the right. Helmets are mandatory for riders and passengers, and motorcycles must ride with headlights on at all times. Speed limits generally run 40-60 km/h in residential areas, 60-80 km/h on urban roads and 100-120 km/h on highways, all radar-enforced. There's zero tolerance for alcohol behind the handlebars — any measurable amount is a criminal offence. Most of our motorcycle rentals in Dubai come from experienced local operators who'll hand you a well-maintained bike, a helmet and friendly advice on the road ahead. Have a nice trip!
On our website you can rent the following types of motorcycles: cruiser, sport, touring, standard, classic, dual-purpose, dirt bikes, street, naked bikes or roadsters, choppers, custom, streetfighter, sport-touring, dual-sport, on-road, off-road, adventure motorcycles, supermoto, scrambler, motorcycle with sidecar, enduro, motocross mx, trail, motards, tricycles, bikes with automatic or manual gears, luxury motorbikes.

Most providers include basic third-party liability insurance in the rental price, with options to upgrade to fuller coverage that reduces or removes your deposit liability in case of damage or theft. Always confirm exactly what is and isn’t covered before you set off.
When you make an online motorbike reservation you can also order the following extra services and equipment: integral helmet, GPS navigation, intercom, unlimited mileage, top case, side cases, boots, jacket, gloves, individual guide or tour, map, full insurance, one-way rental, or delivery to your chosen address.
Most of our motorcycle rental providers have years of experience and will equip you with a well-maintained bike, helmet and insurance for the ride ahead. The number of companies we work with is increasing every day, so if you want to rent a motorcycle locally, just use the search form at the top of the page. Have a nice trip!
