Eindhoven doesn't announce itself the way Amsterdam does, and that's exactly what makes it so good to explore from a saddle. Pedal out from the center and you're at Strijp-S in minutes, weaving between old Philips factory halls now covered in street art and lined with cafes. Push on along the Dommel and you'll land at the Van Abbemuseum, one of the best modern art collections in the country, before the path opens up into the green stretches of Stadswandelpark. None of it feels rushed — you set the pace, and the city rewards you for it.
This is a place built for two wheels. Eindhoven is flat from edge to edge, compact enough to cross without breaking a sweat, and threaded with one of the densest cycle-path networks anywhere in the Netherlands. A city bike gets you across town faster than a bus and cheaper than a taxi, and it also opens the door to trips a car would feel like overkill for — like the ride out to Nuenen, which is simply too short to drive and too far to walk comfortably.
Good news: renting a bicycle here is refreshingly simple. No licence is required, even for e-bikes assisted up to 25 km/h, and there's no legal minimum age. You'll usually be asked for a small deposit, often just a card pre-authorisation, and some form of ID such as a passport. No IDP needed — if you can walk into our website and pick a bike, you can ride.
Average rental price is 3–6 EUR per day during low season and 10–15 EUR during high season. If you'd rather cover more ground with less effort, an electric bike runs 20–25 EUR per day.
High season runs April to September, busiest in July and August, when good weather brings out both locals and visitors. Low season runs November to February — wetter, windier, with shorter days, but also the cheapest time to ride if you don't mind a jacket. If you're planning a summer trip, it's worth booking your bike rental in Eindhoven a little ahead rather than leaving it to the last minute.
The Netherlands drives on the right, and cyclists fit into that flow with their own dedicated infrastructure — where a cycle path exists, you're required to use it. There's no helmet requirement for cyclists, though it's always a sensible extra. After dark, your bike needs a working white or yellow front light and a red rear light; police do check. At unmarked junctions, traffic from the right has priority, and trams generally take precedence too. The blood alcohol limit is 0.5 g/l and applies to cyclists as well, so it's worth keeping in mind even on two wheels.
On our website you can rent the following types of bicycles: classic bikes, tandems, road bikes, carbon, cyclocross, touring, trekking, hybrid, mountain bikes (MTB), cruisers, comfort, city, commuter, urban, Dutch bikes, lady, bike for kids, folding, tricycles with three wheels, bikes with basket, with gears, with suspension, with rear rack, fat-tire bikes, electric bicycles.

Bicycle rentals typically come with basic cover for third-party damage, but theft and damage terms vary from one provider to another. Some include simple loss or damage protection in the price, while others cover it through your deposit; always check the exact terms on the booking page before you confirm.
When you make a reservation of a bicycle you also can order the following extra services and equipment: helmet, GPS navigation, clip pedals, side cases, rear rack, basket, light, gloves, speedometer, individual guide or tour, full insurance, one-way rental, or delivery to the address of your choice.
Most of our local bicycle rentals have many years of experience and will provide you with a well-kept bike, lock, basket and friendly service.
